A Bright & Easy Spring Tablescape

Easy and elegant, with a pop of color and a simple floral centerpiece — that was what I had in mind when it came to setting my spring table. After the darkness of winter, I appreciate the beautiful color and light that comes with spring. And I love any excuse to set a beautiful table, and all of the spring festivities and events are perfect to do just that. I think setting a table in advance of a holiday or special occasion adds to the anticipation and excitement. Plus it gives you something lovely to look at!

Today I want to share the beautiful pieces I used to create my Easter table (that I’ll keep out all spring). Using a mix of new and heirloom pieces, I think it perfectly encapsulates the new season and everything it brings with it — renewal, joy, and color. You can shop the pieces by clicking on the links below!

I’ve shared thees Vietri wine glasses before. I love the pop of color they bring to any table, any time of year — but especially spring. They’re just so fun! And they make wonderful gifts, too. Think milestone birthdays (40th or 50th), housewarming gifts, or even a really thoughtful hostess gift. I love the way they stand out against a classic white tablecloth!

I love a beautiful floral centerpiece, but am often overwhelmed by the cost of a florist-made bouquet. The great thing is with stores like Trader Joe’s, you can find beautiful flowers and greenery to create your own. I found these potted plants at a recent Trader Joe’s outing and thought they’d make the perfect spring centerpiece! You could also create your own by using whatever low vases or vessels you have on hand. Just grab a springtime bouquet from a local grocery store, some florist tape, and some scissors and get to work on creating your own custom bouquet — for a fraction of the cost!

Vietri’s Fiori Di Campo plates are one of my favorite purchases of late. I love the hand-sponged florals and how unique each piece is, making them the perfect tableware to pull out for every spring and summer occasion. From Easter to Mother’s Day, graduation teas, brunch with friends, and more, they add so much color and fun to a table! I paired them with these pink glass chargers from Williams-Sonoma and love how it all turned out. They’d also look cute on top of woven chargers!

Also, I’m a big proponent of repurposing what you have in new ways — which is exactly what I did with these Fenwick Fields scalloped placemats! I used them as a table runner and love the way it turned out.

Ralph Lauren’s hammered flatware is a favorite of mine for special occasions. It’s timeless and elegant, and really goes with any style of place setting! These would make a really special wedding or engagement gift, too.

It’s no secret that I love everything from Camille’s Creations, in fact we have a whole blog post dedicated to her ceramic Easter eggs! I love when I’m able to add something special and sentimental to any decor, but especially a table that’s going to be where my family shares a special meal. I’ve had these eggs for my girls for years and bring them out every Easter. I think they add a perfect and sweet personal touch!

I repotted one of my Trader Joe’s plants in this Vietri bowl that’s featured on our Easter Gifts and Decor Gift Guide. Again, use what you have on hand (and what you love) and you’ll be surprised how cute the result is! I love using various pitchers, bowls, and vases around the house. And don’t miss the new Vietri cookbook, Italy on a Plate, that just came out! It makes a great gift and plenty of cooking inspiration!

You can find lots of these items on our Easter Decor Gift Guide, plus more inspiration for tablescapes and hostess gifts on our Hostess Gift Guide, too!
